  3. Begin in Alden, a small mountain town. Sienn (a childhood friend) has returned from the School of the Arcane. Sienn is strong and independent. Her origins in the cold mountains led to a frost style to her mancery.

  4. The town feels odd, you feel as though you’re being watched from the shadows. At this time you are unaware that there have been a number of disappearances. Turns out a cult of shadow mancers have taken refuge in the nearby catacombs. A few have strayed into town, and are operating in the basements of the houses.

  5. They are the followers of Hekate, the lost witch god. She communicates with them through her creation The Shadow Plane. They extract the pain and suffering of their victims to appease Hekate, often dragging out their deaths for hours.

  6. These mancers are working towards the destruction of the School of the Arcane so that they might obtain a relic capable of freeing Hekate. She was imprisoned for trying to influence her brothers. She suggested they create a dominant race to stand over the others.

  7. Your job is to stop them. The game is for the PC, and so makes use of the keyboard and mouse when playing.

  8. Players can choose between three classes: Mancer Uses incantations to smite foes and protect allies. Warrior A melee fighter with heavy armour, able to withstand a lot of damage. Rogue A melee fighter that focuses on not being seen, able to sneak and assassinate enemies.

  9. Combat will be in real-time. Players will level up to increase in power. Some tasks will require players to level up to stand a chance at completing them. There will be sub-quests available to level up without having to grind.

  10. The end of the game is achieved when players kill Hekate, which will be no easy task.
