Future projections • Auckland Airport to become an increasingly important economic contributor over next 20 years: • From 13% in 2006 to 14-19% of NZ GDP by 2031 • From sustaining 319,000 jobs in NZ in 2006 to 528,000-756,000 in 2031* • Airport has sound growth strategy and capacity in place that will likely transform the area and surrounds* • Economic growth assured but what of our social performance? * 2010 Market Economic Study
