The story –Invention of Vita Wonk. • The Vita- Wonk was invented by Mr. Willy Wonka and makes people younger. • In some cases, some people disappear because their ages become negative. • The story is an adaptation from the book, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, written by Roald Dahl.
Introduction……………………. • Trees are the largest of all plants. • Some trees live for thousands of years. • They are the oldest known living things. • People think of trees as permanent features of the landscape. • The tallest trees grow higher than 30 – storey buildings.
Fir tree • Firs (Abies) are a genus of between 45-55 species of evergreenconifers in the family Pinaceae. All are trees, reaching heights of 10-80 m (30-260 ft) tall and trunk diameters of 0.5-4 m (2-12 ft) when mature. • Firs are found through much of North and Central America, Europe, Asia and North Africa, occurring in mountains over most of the range. • It is one of the most extensively used Christmas trees.
Oak tree • Oaks have spirally arranged leaves , with a with a lobed margin in many species; some have serrated or entire leaves with a smooth margin. • The Major Oak is an 800,1000 year old oak in Sherwood Forest.
Cedar tree • Cedar is a genus of coniferous trees in the plant Pinaceae. • They are native to the mountains of the Western Himalaya and the Mediterranean region • Cedars are trees up to 30-40 (occasionally 60 m) tall.
Pine tree • Pines are native to most of the Northern hemisphere. • Pine wood is commonly used in carpentry items such as furniture, window frames paneling and floors. • There are about 115 species of pine.
Conclusion • Trees are very important to our environment. • Trees are the largest and longest living organisms on Earth. • It purifies air and also provides fruits, woods for human beings. • It has the ability to absorb the water and salt from the Earth and transports them to the leaves.
