  2. Wattage of LED bulbs Wattage of LED bulbs Well, whenever we buy a bulb the first thing that we consider is wattage. LED bulbs use 6 to 8 watts and CFL on the other hand use 13 to 14, which means LED bulbs use less energy as compared to any other lighting bulb.

  3. LEDs duration is more than CLFs LEDs duration is more than CLFs LED bulbs have a long working duration,CFL bulbs don’t last that much long. An average LED bulb has the ability of working for almost 50,000 hours, but a CFL bulb lasts for only 12,000 hours to 15,000 hours.

  4. Cost comparison Cost comparison Yes, LED bulbs are a bit more expensive than CFL bulbs. Good brands like GE, philips can cost a few dollars more as well. But if I rethink it and analyse, for eg-an average LED bulb last up to 50, 000 hours costs for 6 dollars each and a CFL bulb 1 dollars each; which means LED bulb will cost you 3 time more, but lasts 4 time longer with nice and cool environmentally friendly  lighting. So, I definitely would like to go for an  LED bulb.

LED bulbs are less risky than CFLs LED bulbs are less risky than CFLs One that you must have noticed as well is that  LED bulbs don’t get that much heat up after a long use of it, but CFL bulbs get heated up early because they contain mercury and use a massive chunk of electricity to produce heat that the light they burn out in some cases and if you touch it, can burn your finger as well.LED bulbs contain diodes, they produce more light, not unnecessary  heat. LEDs are not breakable very easily, and take a long period of time to get heated up completely. Which means , you are not so much at risk when you use LED bulbs REPLACE NOW
