CONCLUSION • Academic libraries in Malaysia are committed to the provision of CPD to their staff. • Regardless of public or private organisations, CPD is being undertaken by them. • The number of CPD programmes they run or undertake is very much dependent on the number of staff and the funds available. • However, numerous initiatives are in place to support the CPD programmes and the Malaysian academic libraries support each other.
