Palakhi SEVA Pune • Palakhi SEVA Pune, is an initiative envisioned and led by the mayor of Pune, MrsChanchalaKodre. • “SEVA” denotes the 4 key aspects that can help make the wari & the warkari procession safe and secure • S – Security • E – Environment • V – Vigilance • A - Administration • Please come forward with devotion to extend the possible help to make this event successful!

AWARENESS • The event would be successful if we can extend the following to warkari’s • Warkari safety & security • Personal hygiene by maintaining cleanliness and providing sanitation facilities to avoid open defecation. • Accommodation with adequate electricity, water supply, and staff to provide directions and to maintain cleanliness. • Mobile and stationary medication units to provide necessary aid.

  6. AWARENESS Simple mobile solution on mobile [android] • Facilitate sharing guide-lines to respective members • Facilitate sharing other key details • Facilitate interaction management between volunteers and key coordinators and vice-versa • Facilitate governance

INTERACTIONS Interaction management • Share a list of important contact details and names of people with whom volunteers can coordinate/interact • Send volunteer identity, so that they can show to folks, if asked/questioned/challenged • Help volunteers know where they should be posted/stationed during the event • Share a list of facilities provided to warkari, locations of various stalls/facilities

  8. INTERACTIONS Would enable the following • Conduct pre-event surveys of the school facilities • Conduct post-event surveys of the school facilities • Inquiry form to inquire about various subjects related to wari • Feedback / status update forms to post about the activity

INTERACTIONS PLUS MORE • Alert the central authorities, in case of any emergency or situation they cannot handle...or if they need any assistance! • Based on the category selected the details would be diverted to the respective authorities on their mobile [wishful thinking] • Respective authorities can take appropriate action
