In accordance with Statutes the main tasks are: to favour development of the actuarial science, practice and education in Latvia, to favour the professional further education of the actuaries, to elaborate and to maintain the Professional Code of Ethics of actuaries and to ensure the fulfilment of its norms, to be aware of, represent and protect the professional interest of the actuaries, to get involved and to operate in the sphere of the actuarial science in the world and to represent the interest of the Latvian actuaries abroad.
