  2. Edward Bloor Author of Tangerine, Edward William Bloor born on October 12, 1950, is an American author of young adult novels. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He is the son of Edward William and Mary(Cowley) Bloor. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in 1973. He married Pamela Dixon, a teacher, on August 4, 1984. He has two children; a daughter named Amanda and a son named Spencer. He now currently lives in Winter Garden, Florida. Edward Bloor was an English teacher in Florida public schools from 1983 to 1986. This influenced him to write his first novel, Tangerine, in 1997 which won several awards. Then on 1999 he published his second book called Crusader.

  3. Practice Disaster Tuesday, September 5 Paul and his mother came back from the grocery store. Erik and Arthur has just walked in and had terrible news. They told them that Mike Costello died today at football practice. Paul and his mom stood there, shocked and speechless. Erik had told them that he was standing there on the end zone. He had one hand on the goal post, leaning on it. Then KABOOM! There was a crack, and a flash, and he went flying through the air! He landed right on his back, dead before he even hit the ground! The whole left side of his hair was burned off. Everyone dropped what they were doing and surrounded him. Doing CPR, everyone was going nuts! Ambulance came and had the power-pack to jump start him. They were trying to jump start his heart, unfortunately it didn’t work. So as a result Mike Costello Died.

  4. Disaster Strikes! Monday, September 11 Paul came out of the office carrying his umbrella with him when Joey joined him. They were walking and talking and all of the sudden they heard a whooshing sound. Then the brown water that had puddled up all over the field began to move. It began to run toward the portables in the back. Next came a crack-crack crackling sound. The boards began to come apart and the loose mud under the walkways began to slide toward the sinkhole. Teachers and kids came out of their portables trying to spot the cause of all the commotion. Suddenly, there was a larger sound. A louder whoosh turned every head and opened every eye in that rainy field. The walk ways started to heave up and down, making terrible splintering noises. Kids started running and screaming trying to get inside the building. Paul and Joey saw some people stuck in the portables and ran to go help them. Luckily no one died, but many were injured.
