1. Mathletes Challenge 2015

2. Rules • Teams will complete 20 questions in 20 minutes. At the conclusion of each 20-minute half, the judges will grade each team’s test and they will receive a ranking in the competition. The teams’ scores from both halves will be tabulated at the end of the competition to give an overall ranking. • All five team members must participate in the competition. During the competition, only four students may compete at once.

3. Rules • The team’s alternate must be substituted during half time. If a team participates in a tiebreak situation, the team coordinator may substitute for the alternate at that time. • While students are problem solving in teams of four, no one may blurt out an answer. Teams will receive only one warning. The second warning will result in disqualification. • In case of a tie at the end of the competition, teams will participate in a Sudden Death Round in which they will be given five minutes to take a 12-question tie break exam.
