  1. Infection is the #1 cause of death worldwide and #3 in the USA • 25 years ago 80% of infection was controlled by antibiotics • Today, less than 50% of infections are controllable • “Super bug” mutations have been caused by sterilants & chemicals • Absenteeism due to sickness in USA costs $50bn per year • Moldis more lethal than asbestos and more prevalent • 80% of infections spread by human touch The Problem: Superbugs on the rise

  2. Hi-Touch points: • Door handles, doors, desks, cleaning equipment, toilets, medical equipment, walls, beds, bed linen, uniforms, towels, gym equipment, AC ducting, ceilings..........the list is endless • 80% of infection spreads through touch-points • Many touch points such as floors, ceilings, AC ducting are not cleaned regularly and become reservoirs for health-damaging bacteria Problem Areas

  3. Microbial growth is activated by high temperature and moisture • Standard cleaning chemicals and protocols are short-lived • Microbes rapidly adapt, mutate and multiply • Chemical residues and dead microbes become food source for mutated, more resistant microbes • Cleaning only with conventional chemicals causes a greater risk of microbe mutation! Microbial Attack

  4. Then continues to protect for up to 60 days What is Invisible Shield?

  5. EPA Registered • Water based spray on antimicrobial protection • Protectant for porous and non-porous surfaces • Odorless & Colorless • Highly durable • A non-toxic technology once dry • Prevents biofilm build-up Invisible Shield Protection is…

  6. Non-leaching, mechanical method of efficacy • Is an added level of protection against damaging microbes such as bacteria, mold & mildew • Can be fogged, wiped, sprayed or misted Invisible Shield Protection is…

  7. Features and Benefits

  8. Features and Benefits

  9. Features and Benefits

  10. The active ingredient in IS polymerizes to all surfaces and is both colorless and odorless. • Think of ISas a layer of electrically charged swords. When a microorganism comes in contact with the treated surface, the quaternary amine sword punctures the cell membrane and the remnants are then electrocuted. How does the “IS” protection work?

  11. Since nothing is transferred to the now dead cell, the antimicrobial does not lose it’s strength and the sword is now ready for the next cell. • NOTE: Normal cleaning of the treated surfaces is necessary in order for the “IS” antimicrobials to continue their effectiveness. • Dirt buildup, paint, dead microbes, etc. can cover the treatment prohibiting it from killing microorganisms. How does the “IS” protection work?

  12. How it works

  13. Effectiveness: The molecule never releases itself from surfaces as all other antimicrobials do. Durability: The product’s stable molecular structure results in a protectant that is permanent for the life of the product. How it works?

  14. IS forms an almost permanent bond with the surface substrate. • A ‘wheat field’ of carbon shafts protects the surface from microbes. • Microbes are drawn to the ‘wheat field’ of shafts by the positively charged nitrogen atom. • The microbe’s cell wall is ruptured by the shafts. • A positive charge from the nitrogen atom delivers a fatal electrical charge to the cell wall of the microbe How it works?

  15. How it works

  16. Actual “IS” Molecule on Surface

  17. ISstarts to work as soon as the microorganism comes into contact with the treated surface. • It then works continuously to maintain a consistently lower bio-burden than would be expected on a surface without ISprotection. Does “IS” work immediately?

  18. IS is a dual action Sanitizer & Protectant • The Sanitizer kills on contact chemically when wet • When dry, ISis a biostatic surface protectant • ISprotects surfaces and textiles in between cleanings. Why is “IS” different?

  19. Invisible Shield does not use: • Leaching Poisons • Heavy Metals • Triclosans • All of the products listed above can create superbugs and do not have a residual effect Why is “IS” different?

  20. IS technology has undergone extensive independent laboratory testing and has a long history of safe use. • It is registered with the EPA for all applications in which it used. How do you know “IS” is safe?

  21. Applications

  22. An average size facility of 3,000 square feet can be treated with less than 18 ounces of diluted product. That equates to under $10 per application Coverage

  23. IShas produced excellent results in independent performance testing – which means it is EFFECTIVE TO USE… • IShas produced excellent results in independent toxicology testing – which means it is SAFE TO USE… • Since ISdoes not use heavy metals, triclosans, phenols, or poisons, it is ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY… Invisible Shield Summary
