150th Anniversary Celebration Our committee met on April 18th to continue the plans for our big celebration on September 30th. Please note the plans already in place: April 29th we celebrate Baptisms and Confirmations. Many of our members were in different churches at this time, but we need to celebrate all the special days. Bring your pictures and baptismal clothing if you have some. Sandy will reframe the old confirmation pictures that used to hang on the dining room wall. Cookies and punch to follow the service. May 13th we honor Moms everywhere with a flower and special music. May 28th and 29th we remember Memorial Day. We plan to treat the visitors on the 29th with a glass of punch, and remind them of our 150th. June 10th we celebrate marriage with a display of old and new wedding dresses. Remember to touch base with Kris Ingli if you have one to style or show. A "Tea Party" in the dining room will follow the service. June 17th is Father's Day. Dad's everywhere are the best, and please share a special memory of your father. July 1st is Red, White and Blue Sunday. Get out your patriotic colors and get your picture taken. August 5th is "Back to School" day and we hope the children will help us celebrate that day. Margie is busy collecting classic clothing to make this a special event. Other monthly events are also planned and more news will follow.
