  1. Janmastami Special: Sabudana/Javvarsi Kichadi Popular during the festive seasons like Janmashtami, Mahashivaratri, or Navaratri, it is one of the quintessential dishes. Made up of sabundana / javvarisi, potato, and ground species, it is a go-to recipe that has been made in every Indian household for decades. Let's see how to make this delicious dish with refined sunflower oil manufacturers. Let’s begin with the ingredients: Ingredients: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Water to soak sabudana/javvarsi Lemon juice as per requirement Oil - 3 tbsp Cumin seeds - ¼ cup Salt as per requirement Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp Grated coconut - ¼ cup Chopped green chilies as per requirement 2 medium-sized potatoes Roasted peanuts for the crunch Grated ginger - 1 tbsp Curry leaves - few strings Sabudana/Javvarisi - 1 cup Instructions: 1. Wash the sabudana /javvaris in water till the starch is washed up, and soak it in water overnight. Make sure the water is 1 or 2 inches above the sabudana. 2. In a cooker, boil the potatoes and keep them aside. 3. Once it cools down, peel and chop the potatoes as per your preference. 4. In a blender using the pulse option, grind the roasted peanuts coarsely. Remember to grind in parts. 5. Now, drain the overnight soaked sabundana/javvaris thoroughly, put it in a mixing bowl, and add the ground peanut powder, salt, and sugar to it. Mix well with a spoon. 6. In a pan, add oil from sunflower oil manufacturers in India and heat it to a medium-low flame. 7. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds, and as they crackle, add the green chillies and fry in medium-low heat. 8. Now add in the chopped potatoes and sauté them for a few minutes. 9. As it cooks, add the sabudana /javvaris mixture and sauté it. It’ll become translucent and the raw taste of sabudana /javvarise goes away. 10. Now add in the lemon juice and add a handful of freshly chopped coriander leaves, and mix it gently. 11. Remove from the flame, garnish with grated coconut, and serve it warm.
