Status of Products Received • Currently get all warning text messages as events arise from their respective WFO offices • Graphical products (Spring Flood, Precipitation and Temperature probability, and QPF) taken from NCRFC website
Status of Products Received • Forecast Data • Receive products from both RFC and WFO offices • Frequency • KMSR, KORN, KKRF (RFC): • 2 forecasts daily in SHEF format. • Crest Forecast when pertinent (shef encoded). • Additional forecast results on request. • WFO: PAH, LOT, ILX • 2 forecasts daily in SHEF format. • Crest Forecast when pertinent (shef encoded). • WFO: LSX • 2 forecasts daily (shef format on morning only). • Crest Forecast when pertinent (statement only).

Potential For Improvement • RFC OR WFO – Which is the official forecast? • Currently assumed to be WFO • WFO puts out daily - RFC puts out 6-hr incremental forecasts • Forecast Data From WFO • Would Like All Information put out in Hydrologic Statement (RVS) also available in SHEF format (RVD) • All forecasts available in SHEF format (RVD) • Crest Forecast when pertinent in SHEF format (RVD)
