  4. Why is Friction Important in all of our lives? Two surfaces rub together. Little friction is smooth. The ball rolled smoothly on the wooden stairs. The friction stops the skateboard. The grass is big and it can stop it because the wheels are too big for the grass. Friction stops, because if you have rubber shoes you will have more friction so you won’t fall down.
