Girls Just Wanna Have Parties Our brick and mortar store is located in Snyder Plaza just northwest of the SMU campus in University Park. We are a little girl’s birthday venue. We cater, literally and figuratively, to affluent Dallas women who want to make a statement with their daughters’ birthday parties. We will offer four stock themes: Princess, Tea Party, Diva, and favorite character. We will also offer specialized themes at the client’s request.
Consumer Experience Provided • Our service and products are strictly hedonic. To ensure customer satisfaction, we will use only the best caters and the highest quality personnel. • The initial set up of each party room will be by professionals, well trained in interior design and coordination. From time to time, these party themes will be adjusted or changed completely to keep the business fresh. • Parties at Girls Just Wanna Have Parties will be upbeat, effervescent, and exciting. There will never be a dull moment. There will always be something going on. The kids will play in a fun atmosphere and leave full of birthday cake and memories.
Services • Of course the parents will be available on site for the inevitable problems that arise when children play with each other, but they will be segregated in a room away from the party room. • The parents’ room will focus on their comfort and enjoyment through food and drinks in an adult atmosphere. • At Girls Just Wanna Have Parties, the emphasis is on fun for both the children and the parents. • What differentiates this service from other birthday party venues is the physical separation of the parents from the children in order to enhance the experience of both
Consumer Experiences Team Project requirements : • Students will work within assigned teams to develop a hypothetical company (retail store, hotel, restaurant, spa, etc) of consumer products or services that practices experiential retailing as discussed in the course. Learning Outcomes: • How to create and successfully promote / network a company. • How to utilize the types of experiences learned in class into a “real world” scenario. • How to be set self apart from other businesses and give today’s customers what they are looking for, an experience.
