Introduction Jenni MacGregor • Chartered Civil Engineer • I have 36 years of diverse civil engineering experience, principally within Major Projects and Asset Management • I have worked for two major UK civil engineering contractors, Costain and BAM Nuttall • I moved into full time planning over 25 years ago • I am currently Head of Planning for BAM Nuttall, a £800+m turnover company within the Royal Bam Group. • I have a company wide functional responsibility for providing support and guidance in relation to planning matters to all operational staff including some 70 planning engineers. I also enjoy the strategic vision and goal setting facets of the role • I contribute to several industry wide forums

Approach • Our External Client Project Managers and their teams require a programme that: • defines the contracted work • conforms to their WBS • allows them to predict and manage their cashflow • aligns with their reporting cycle • demonstrates progress against a baseline of their choosing • defines timing and relationship with both their and third party activities • summarises build sequences and complex relationships • accommodates change • supports EVA techniques
