  2. Summary • This poem is about an enchanted frog. The enchanted frog was once a prince, but there was a spell put on him. He is patiently awaiting his princess to come and kiss him. If she kisses him then he will turn back into a prince. He isn’t sad at all about being a frog, he is content about being a frog. He does wish that she will hurry up because if he dies a frog he can’t go to heaven, but he can if he is a human.

  3. Theme • Do not complain about the life you live, but instead live it and love it.

  4. Religious or not? Why? • Yes, this poem is religious. It is religious because he mentions heaven. He is stating that he can’t die a frog and go to heaven, but he can die a human and go to heaven.

  5. What do I like about this poem? • I like this poem because it isn't sad.

  6. Something else I like • The poem is told from the frog’s point of view and not an outsider.
