Find the Value of Coins Suzanne had 2 quarters, 2 dimes, and 4 pennies. Add the value of each coin. Start with the greatest value. 25 + 25 + 10 + 10 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 74¢ Answer: So, Suzanne had 74 cents, 74¢, or $0.74 in her purse. Example 1
