  3. Teaching Licensure Obtain your New Mexico state teaching licensure through the International Student Teaching Program. Our program fulfills all state requirements required for becoming a licensed educator in the state of New Mexico.

Service Learning As an international student teacher, you bring new ideas and insights into your student teaching classroom, giving your students a valuable and unique opportunity to learn from a culturally different perspective. While teaching abroad enhances your own professional development, you are also making a worthy contribution to another community.   5. Exchange By participating in International Student Teaching Program, you make it possible for a teacher from your host country to attend NMSU in exchange.
