  2. Armenia I was born in Armenia. Armenia is located east of Turkey and north of Iran.

  3. Armenia Armenia was the first country to formally adopt Christianity – 4th Century AD. Over many centuries, Armenia was part of several empires – Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Persian, and Ottoman. In 1920, Armenia became part of the Soviet Union and remained in the Soviet Union until 1991.

  4. My Family My mother lives in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I have three brothers, but only one is still alive, living in Yerevan, Armenia.

  5. My Family I am married to Linroy Kilgore, who works at GSIS, in Technology.

  6. Education My bachelor’s degree is in music education, from the Yerevan State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1995. My goal is to start work on a master’s degree in education.

  7. Work During and after college, I was a professional opera singer. From 1998 to the present, I have been a music teacher. In 2003, I began teaching in international schools. First in Uzbekistan, then in Egypt, and now in Korea.

  8. Languages • I speak five languages. • Armenian : Native • Russian : Native • English : Fluent • Uzbek : Conversational • Italian : Beginner

  9. Christian I have been a Christian since 1999, when I started following Jesus Christ. I work hard to live a life that is pleasing to my Lord. I was so happy to come to GSIS because it is a Christian school.
