What is a Partnership? A partnership is a strategic alliance or relationship between two or more people. Successful partnerships are often based on trust, equality, and mutual understanding and obligations. Partnerships can be formal, where each party's roles and obligations are spelled out in a written agreement, or MoU, where the roles and obligations are assumed or agreed. It is important for both parties to be open-minded and accepting of each other's differences. There must be a willingness to learn and adapt. Both partners must be willing to exchange their technical knowledge and to relate as equals in a shared future.

Together We Can Make A Difference! Together we can teach others how to receive their benefits from the Health System. A breakthrough; moving from poverty to prosperity, from sickness to health, and from the battlefield of defeat to a lifestyle of victory. We each bring value to one another and fill the gaps the other has. The two parties(NRHM & NGOs) are working together toward a common goal. (MDG 4&5) We have a great deal of trust and admiration for one another. Trust is such an important element of partnership success. This is made possible by having constant and open dialogue. This is very important – “a good partnership requires each partner to learn, adapt and evolve from good experiences.”
