Draft Recommendations • 10 years from now: we should be able to tell whether the draft vision was achieved or not • Some of the draft recommendations: • National Conservation Strategy for the Refuge System • Friends group for every staffed wildlife refuge • Engage youth and volunteers • Standards for application of science • Increase youth hunting and fishing, diversity in Refuge System workforce • Develop a five-year plan to “green” the Refuge System • And many more!
