  14. Conclusion The benthos and bottom fish communities show similar pattern of spatial variation. The communities are driven by the same environmental gradients, mainly temperature and depth. There are species pairs of benthos-fish that may be reliable environmental indicators in that be used to test fro ecological interactions.
