  13. The Health Academy Disseminates general health knowledge to the public and schools, through the use of ICTs.

  14. The Academy uses eLearning technology to deliver up-to-date information especially to school-aged children

  15. Examples of Health Academy topics include: • Protecting our bones • Safer food • Oral health • Water for life • Avoiding heart attacks • Mind the bite (malaria) • Healthy mind • Healthy body • Safely on our way • Avoiding tuberculosis • Staying fit

  20. HINARI The Health Inter-Network Access to Research Initiative

  21. (HINARI) provides free a very low-cost access to thousands of electronic journals in biomedical and related sciences. • Non-profit institutions in developing countries. • Presently 3400 institutions in 108 countries registered for HINARI.
