Learn how to send and receive files through e-mail using Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Eudora, and Pegasus FTP. Includes instructions on attaching files and accessing attachments.

* Sending an Attached File Create a message and type the text that you want to include. click the Insert file button on the message window toolbar. Double-click the file that you want to attach to the message. Send the message * Receiving an Attached File - To access the attachment, open the message. = In Outlook 98, attachments appear in messages as icons. = In Outlook express, a large paperclip icon appears at the top-right corner of the message. Open the attachment by double-clicking the icon for the attached file in the message. To save the attachment without opening it, right-click the icon and choose save as from the shortcut menu. Netscape Messenger • When you compose a message in Netscape Messenger, you can see and information about attached files on the Attach Files in the headers section of the message window. (아래)
To send an attached file, follow these steps: • Open a new message. • Click the Attach button on the message window toolbar and choose File. Messenger displays the Enter File to Attach dialog box. • Select the file to attach and click Open. The Attach Files in the headers section of the message window is selected automatically. • Send the message.
Eudora • Sending an Attach File - Create a new message by passing CTRL+N or clicking the new message button on the toolbar - Drag a file from Window Explorer or a folder window to the Eudora message window. When you see the attach file dialog box, select the file and click OK. - Choose the type of encoding on the toolbar - Send the message.
