This will allow GCSE Chemistry to be awarded in Year 10 leaving 6 exams (B1,B2,B3 and P1,P2 and P3 and Biology and Physics exams being completed in Year 11)
Current Year 10 GCSE Further Additional Sciences – Option 3 ctd The same content will be taught as the 3 separate sciences. The only difference will be when the exams are taken

The flexibility to follow any of the four pathways exists: • Option 1 – Treat first module in P1 or B1 as a practice exam and sit 9 exams in Year 11 to certificate in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics • Option 2 - Treat first module in P1 or B1 as a practice exam and sit 3 more exams to complete GCSE Chemistry in year 10. Sit 6 exams in year 11 to complete GCSE Biology and Physics. • Option 3 – Combine first module with 2 more exams to complete GCSE Science in Year 10. Sit 6 exams in Year 11 to complete GCSE Additional Science and GCSE Further additional Science. • Option 4 – Combine first module with 2 more exams to complete GCSE Science in year 10. Sit 9 exams in year 11 to complete separate GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
