  2. Aim of the project Sexual harassment on the workplace • Change of attitudes of the public and elimination of sexual harassment through the sensibilization of employers and increase of knowledge of employees about practice of sexual harassment

  3. Specific aims Sexual harassment on the workplace • To increase the knowledge of public about sexual harassment • To persuade the policy makers that the gender mainstreaming is needed • To increase gender sensibilization in the policy of Trade unions • To promote gender sensibilization through the examples of best practices of helping to the victims, to the employersandTrade unions

Activities Sexual harassment on the workplace • Monitoring of incidence of sexual harassment • Information campaign for the public • Courses for awareness raising • Counselling in the cases of sexual harassment (for victims, employers and Trade unions) • Monitoring of achieved results • Dissemination of knowledge (leaflets, discussions, publications, international conferences and meetings)

  5. Survey on sexual harassment Sexual harassment on the workplace • Survey on sexual harassment will be done by the questionnaires • The questionnaires will be disseminated thorough the Trade Unions, NGO-s and Offices of Labour, Social Affairs and Family • The questions will be compatible with similar survey on European level • Results of this survey will be disseminated with the aim to increase awareness raising of the public

  6. Monitoring and Evaluation Procedures Sexual harassment on the workplace All activities of the project will be evaluated to determine how well they achieve the objectives and expected impact. Every activity will be evaluated with the help of developed questionnaire by the participants, also by the people visiting web-site . These recommendations in the evaluation form will serve as an evaluation of the partners´ potential and the readiness of community for further activities in this field.

  7. Decision-makings - Co-ordinating Committee Sexual harassment on the workplace • Co-ordinating Committee is created by one representatives of each partner. It is needy to reach consensus. • Each partner will have one vote. In critical situation will be decided by voting. • The sessions of the CC will be minimal once a quater an year • In crisis situation CC will meet immediately

Decision making - Working groups Sexual harassment on the workplace • For fluent managing of the project will be created working groups: • Working group for survey • Working group for campaign • Working group for counselling • These working groups will meet once a month • The problematic situation will be decided by Coordinating Committee

Transnational partnership Sexual harassment on the workplace • Compare the incidence of sexual harassment in the partner European countries to identify legislation and bodies dealing with this issue and to know the state policy and measures for the prevention and elimination of sexual harassment • Trade union policy and collective agreements in the relation to the sexual harassment

  10. Realisation of the project I. Sexual harassment on the workplace • Start of the project was delayed because the Managing authority in Slovakia • 1th meeting of Steering Committee - 19th of October 2005 • Creation of Working groups: - for the survey on sexual harassment - for the counselling on sexual harassment - for the on campaign campaign sexual harassment

Sexual harassment on the workplace • The study materials on the gender discrimination and sexual harassment on the workplace for the courses in the framework of the project are prepared – their adaptation for the needs of groups is planned • The counselling centre in Zvolen is running • The counselling centre in Bratislava is working also • The web-site on the project is prepared – next days will be functioning • The questionnaire on sexual harassment is administrating

Sexual harassment on the workplace • 10th of May 2005 - Slovak Radio - Contacts -live discussion on the discrimination and sexual harassment • 27th of October - TA3 (Private Television) - interview on the projects and sexual harassment • 16th of November - Press Conference on the opening of Counselling centre for victims • Interview on sexual harassment for the Slovak Radio - News

Sexual harassment on the workplace • Interview on sexual harassment for Slovak Radio - International department • Interview on sexual harassment for Radio Expres 19th of November 2005 - • Interview for journal Slovenka on opening of Counselling centre for victims of sexual harassment • 20th of November 2005 - article on sexual harassment for the journal of Baječná žena (Wonderful Woman) • The leaflets on the project were disseminated.

Sexual harassment on the workplace Publicity of the project III. • 15th of August 2006 – Article in daily „SME“ - „Should the touches of colleagues to flatter to us?“in supplement Career • 13th of September 2006 - Daily „Nový čas“ (New Time) two pages on sexual harassment with information about our project • 20th of September 2006 - Weekly „Roľnícke noviny“ (Farmer´s Newspaper) – article on sexual harassmentn and about our project

Sexual harassment on the workplace Information campaign • Meeting with unemployed person in Zlaté Moravce – information on sexual harassment and the project – 29th of March 2006 • Meeting with unemployed person in Bratislava - information on sexual harassment and administration of the questionnaire – 8th of May 2006 • Next meeting are prepared on 20th of June 2006 in Zvolen and 23rd of June 2006 in Košice

Sexual harassment on the workplace Courses of awareness raising • 9th of June 2006 – 1th courses of awareness raising – for representatives of women organization • The courses of awareness raising for representatives of Trade Union are still discussed. The main problem is the coincidance of different EQUAL projects. Now is the chance to start with cources in autumn. • The main problems with courses for employers makes resistance of employers towards similar courses. We have to overcame this obstacle.

Sexual harassment on the workplace Courses of awareness raising III. • 28th of March 2007 - 5th course of awareness raising – for employees of Office for Labour, Social Affairs and Family in Zvolen • 29th of March 2007 - 6th course of awareness raising - for representatives of Trade Unions in Banská Bystrica • 30th of March 2007 - 7th course of awareness raising - for representatives of Trade Unions in Košice
