Is it better option to implement free education in India? India had a literacy of 12 % when we got Independence from the British rule. According to the last issued censor report in 2011, India’s literacy rate has increased to 74%. Most probably will be above 80% in the coming few years. Inspite of such a growth, it is a fact that India has been unable to attend 100% literacy rate. And there are several major factors that are lying behind.
