  12. Howdy Hilton • By: Alysha Batada • On June 20, 2010 my family and I went to a place called Hilton Head. When we got there, it sounded fun but noisy. • Then we went to a place called Comfort inn. I t was as noisy as a crowd of people at the World Series. I saw many signs saying do not feed alligators, but I didn’t see any in sight. I also saw turtles. • The next day we went to the beach. We saw electric jellyfish and a starfish. Finally after two days, it was time to go home. It was a lot of fun at Hilton Head!

  13. Super OINK • Once upon a time there was a pig. Not any ordinary pig. A pig named Super Oink who had super powers. He solved many crimes. He solved the Three Little Pigs and many other crimes. But that is a story for another day.

  14. My Favorite Vacation • By Alysha Batada • September 14,2010 • My favorite vacation was when I went to South Carolina (Hilton Head). I think it is the best place to visit in the world .I was so excited to go there. I knew I would not get in trouble especially on this vacation. I hope. I the ocean would smell like fresh salt and I would feel the windy breeze. The ocean looks like THE SHIMERING SKY! • After we got to South Carolina we looked for the hotel we were going to stay in for our trip the place was lovely. They had everything you needed outside they even had a swimming pool but the best thing was that it was close to the beach. I thought I was going to have a glorious time in this lovely place. After a while I saw a sign that said that there were crocodiles or alligator were in the swamp. I wasn’t sure if it was true. But I did see turtles they were brownish orangish turtles they were so cool. I enjoyed going to South Carolina. I liked going there I think a lot of families would enjoy going there. I have one more thing to say. Wet ready for breakfast. I had a delicious breakfast.

  15. My Grand Parents are my Heroes • By: Alysha Batada • My grandparents are my heroes (they are just like superman), because they have showed me how to give (like a dog). Like most of the time when we call them they ask my brother and I carefully what we want like what type of gift we want. First of all I think that it is very nice of them, and once I quickly gave them my bedroom and slept with my parents. My lovely grandparents can also be trusted by me. I can trust elders and I know they would never , but sometimes they just can’t do it. Once they asked me what toy I want and when I told them they brought it when they came to visit us. They both have hair as grey as a eggshell. It is great when they come because that time I am so excited I either jump or soar through the air when I hear they’re coming. I love to see my grandparents. I love to see the sea. I don’t hate seeing my grandparents I mean who would well I don’t I love I love seeing them do you hate seeing your grandparents?
