TheSamsungGalaxyserieshasmanymodels,andtheSamsunghasanicepricetag,alongwithall thefeaturesandservicesthatahardcoreAndroiduserwouldlove.Italsoworkswellasa beginner’sAndroidphone,becauseofitspricerange. TheSamsungAceisaslimphone,andfollowstheformfeaturesofthemoreexpensivephoneslike theSamsungNoteortheSamsungGalaxy.Ithasametallicfeeltoit.Theformfactormakesit somewhatpalmsized,soitisnotasbulkyasaSamsungNote,anditnottoosmalltohaveascreen thatdoesnotshoweverythingthatitshould. Ithasalargerscreenthanotherphonesthatareavailableinthepricerange–itisabouteight centimeters.ThoughthescreenisnotHD,itprovidesagreatexperiencetotheviewer.Thefontsare sharp,thecolorscrispandthisvalidatesthefewdollarsmore thatitonehastopaytobuythisdevice,ascomparedtothe SamsungFit. TheSamsungAcecomeswithan832MHzprocessor,andgives asolidperformance.ItalsocomeswithaGPU,oneofthefew thatareavailableatthisprice.Italsohas3G,GPS,WiFiand3.0 Bluetooth,makingitquitearobustphonewhenitcomestoits pricerange. Thehigherprocessorallowsthephonetoworkmuchfaster, andthefactthatithasadedicatedGPUkeepsitsrunningeven better,withoutstrainingtheactualprocessor.TheAcehasan Adreno200GPU,whichisquitegoodwhenitcomestoplayingmobilegames.Thegameplay qualityisbetterthanmanyothermobilephonesinthepricerange.Withafasterprocessor,itisalso easiertoswitchbetweenapps,andkeepingtwooreventhreeappsworkinginthesidelines.The phonegavesomeproblemswhenweinstalledlivewallpaper,butthatcanbeaboutthewallpaper andnotthephoneinitself. TheAcealsomakessomekindofpresencefeltinthelooksmarket,bygivingawhitebackjacket free.Theblackjacket,thedefaultone,hasarubberyfeeltoit,whilethewhitejackethasamarble typefeeltoit.Thewhitejacket,thoughhavingamarblefeeltoitisnotsmoothenoughtokeepdust andmarksoffit,sowewouldsuggestthatyoukeeptheblack,defaultjacketon,asthatwillkeep yourphonelookingbrighterandsmarter.Infact,thephoneisquitesimilarinlookstotheSamsung SII,andifyoudonotkeepthewhitejacket,theuninitiatedmaythinkthatitisasmallerversionof theSIIorsomething,ifyouwanttobaskinthatkindoflight–thatis. TheSamsungAcecameoutin2011,andsincethenthereistheAcePlus,whichisabitpricier,butit hasbetterhardwarespecificationsthantheAce,thoughtheformfactorismoreorlessthesame.
