Summary Hayley is starting 8th grade. But it isn’t starting out so good. She is running for president and she doesn’t even want to. Also she has to foster a dog because of her sister Chloe and Hayley doesn’t even like dogs! She also has to go to a barbeque party and her grandma is getting married and she just wants everything to be ok and wants her grandma to have fun. Read the book to find out if Hayley’s 8th grade year will turn out good.
First half of our R For the first half of our R we brought in vanilla cake! This relates to our book because Hayley’s grandma is getting married and she makes a cake for her wedding!
Second half of our RDiary entry Dear Diary, So you know how I don’t like dogs? Well thanks to Chloe we are now fostering one! Her name is Tessie. Plus I now have to run for president. What fun. I really really don’t want to. And grandma is getting married and I just want her to have fun. So umm yeah…. Hayley

Save the Cupcake Hayley’s life is not starting off to well. Her parents are divorced and she is stuck sharing a room with her little sister Chloe. Her and her best friend Artie are starting to drift apart. But luckily Hayley knows how to make delicious cupcakes and cupcakes make life just a bit sweeter.
Taking the Cake Hayley, her mom, and her little sister Chloe just moved into their grandmas house. They now run a family tea shop. Hayley decides to bake some cake pops for the tea shop! As Hayley and her best friend Artie aren’t friends anymore she starts crushing on a new boy that might be Artie’s boyfriend!
Sugar and Spice Hayley, her mom, and her little sister Chloe just moved into a new house above the tea shop. Hayley finds a new friend named Meghan and her ex best friend Artie is getting in the way! Meghan and Artie don’t mix together as friends.
