Interjection • An interjection describes a noun, the only difference is that it has to end in "ing" no grammatical connection with the rest of the sentence and simply expresses emotion on the part of the speaker. • The word "interjection" literally means "thrown in between" from the Latin inter"between" and iacere"throw".
Interjection • Interjections are used when the speaker encounters events that cause these emotions — unexpectedly, painfully, surprisingly, or in many other sudden ways. However, several languages have interjections that cannot be related to emotions.
Examples • Michelle left the house to go to the party with alacrity.
Examples • Andres composed his atmosphere with tranquility and relaxation.
Examples • Andres's father watched NCIS all day to relieve him from his ennui from being sick.
Examples • The imperturbable mother sat in the house all day doing nothing to stop her kids from running around the house.
Examples • Drakes impetuous decision on not studying on his three exams but instead he went out to party with his friends.
Examples • The parents incited their kids to work for their toys and make them hard working in the future.
