Interjection. BY: Sebastian Mundo And Andres Romero. Interjection. An interjection describes a noun, the only difference is that it has to end in "ing" no grammatical connection with the rest of the sentence and simply expresses emotion on the part of the speaker.

Interjection • An interjection describes a noun, the only difference is that it has to end in "ing" no grammatical connection with the rest of the sentence and simply expresses emotion on the part of the speaker. • The word "interjection" literally means "thrown in between" from the Latin inter"between" and iacere"throw".

  3. Interjection • Interjections are used when the speaker encounters events that cause these emotions — unexpectedly, painfully, surprisingly, or in many other sudden ways. However, several languages have interjections that cannot be related to emotions.

  4. Examples • Michelle left the house to go to the party with alacrity.

  5. Examples • Andres composed his atmosphere with tranquility and relaxation.

  6. Examples • Andres's father watched NCIS all day to relieve him from his ennui from being sick.

  7. Examples • The imperturbable mother sat in the house all day doing nothing to stop her kids from running around the house.

  8. Examples • Drakes impetuous decision on not studying on his three exams but instead he went out to party with his friends.

  9. Examples • The parents incited their kids to work for their toys and make them hard working in the future.

  10. Examples • Kevin made an indolent “sigh” as he stretched in his chair and yawned loudly in class.

  11. Examples • The inertia of the bowling ball in the alley made all the pins go down.

  12. Example • Pandemonium occurred at Bobs house when a horde of mice got in the basement of the house.

  13. Example • Being with the woman you love in a room alone gives you some sense of serenity.
