  27. Introduction • The word globalization is now synonym to the world of business. Organizations that did not meet up the globalization needs will tend to loose out in the business arena and will be considered as weak and fragile. • This programme is offered to cater these ever challenging needs of the international business framework. Apart from understanding the theoretical aspect of international business, students will also be exposed with real world business practices by adopting real case scenarios and also letting them going for internship in the various Multinational companies. • This approach will ensure that international business graduates will be well equipped in the international business career.

  39. Objectives of the Course include: • To ensure that students are educated in law; • To ensure that students are able to argue with reason and logic; • To promote critical and analytical thinking students; • To produce students who are able understand legal issues.

  40. Career Prospects The Bachelor of Laws is the basic degree in legal education and it offers many interesting openings:- • Graduates could work for the government. Government sector provides job opportunities to law graduates as Public Prosecutors and Solicitors. • Besides that, the Government also needs Law Officers, Legal Assistants and Legal Advisers in many departments

  41. Career Prospects • Members of the judiciary must have legal education. Only a few would be selected. • They may rise to the levels of Chief Judicial Magistrate, District and Sessions Judge or even as a Judge of the High Court. • Such elections and promotions depend very much on experience and seniority.

  42. Career Prospects • If one decides to be one's own boss - He/she could set up his/ her own private practice, that is after being called to the Bar. • Depending upon the aptitude and specialisation, one could start practicing in civil or criminal cases.

Career Prospects • Today, there are a number of lawyers who specialize and practice in tax laws. • There are also legal advisors dealing exclusively with the labor laws or specialized in areas such as patents, trademarks, sales tax or even foreign exchange. • There are also legal advisors dealing exclusively with the labor laws or in international laws.

  44. Career Prospects • Teaching is another avenue. Law graduates with good percentage, a good aptitude and taste for teaching normally decide to teach. • They could teach at local universities, or at universities aboard or at other institutes offering law courses.

  45. Career Prospects With a law degree, one would be equipped to take up challenging positions at international levels:- • Legal positions at the United Nations or the World Trade Organization could be within the reach of outstanding students.
