  3. “Common Ground” Goal (Strategic Plan ’04 – ’07) • Serve the common needs of both volunteer literacy and Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs • Help unify the adult literacy field • Build capacity of the field through increased advocacy and professional development

Thinkfinity.org • Merger of Verizon Literacy Network (adult & family literacy) and Marco Polo (K-12) • Funded by Verizon Foundation • Content from national leaders (e.g., IRA, NCFL, PLA, NCTM, etc.) • Online education and literacy resources across the life span (free online courses, podcasts, downloadable resources, lesson plans, program assessment tools, etc.)
