Shimla – Kinnaur – Manali • Day 01 : Chandigarh to Shimla ( 120 kms/Approx 3.5 hrs) : • Drive to Shimla and check in at your hotel, Later take a tour of Shimla sightseeing &, visit the Jakhoo hills which, offers panoramic vies of the Shimla town. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay. Day 02 : Shimla to Sarahan Via Narkanda (165kms/Aprrox 5hrs) : • Sarahan, a beautiful hamlet located in the Sutlej Valley, is a major tourist destination situated in Himachal Pradesh. This place offers visitors the opportunity explore nature at its best. Placed at an average altitude of about 2165 m above sea level, the place is popular for its apple orchards, pine forests, small streams, rustic settings and slate roofed houses.Visit sun temple at Nirath, Rampur and Bhimakali temple. Day 03 : Sarahan to Sangla (90kms/ Approx 4 hrs) : • Sangla alongside the River Sutlej. Enjoy an afternoon excursion trip to Roghi Village to explore the ‘Pahari’ Life. Interact with the locals. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9,000 feet. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetian border. Overnight stay at hotel in Sangla.
Day 04 : Excurion to Chitkul & Sightseeing : • After breakfast, Explore ancient Kamru Fort and Kamakhya Devi Temple. Post lunch, proceed for an excursion to Chitkul – the last village on old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and visit remote villages of Rackcham and Chitkul. and in afternoon start for Kalpa (50kms/Approx 2.5 hrs) : After breakfast drive to Kalpa which is district headquarter of Kinnaur. Arrival in Kalpa and check-in to your hotel. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. Each and every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden and the Kinnaur Kailash Peaks, considered one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva and by its side is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Enjoy an afternoon excursion trip to Roghi Village to explore the ‘Pahari’ Life. Interact with the locals. Return back to Kalpa. Later in the evening, visit Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar. Enjoy the sunset over Kinnaur Kailash Peaks. Visit a local school and Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and local Deities. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 0 5 : Kalpa to Jibhi (195kms/Approx 5hrs) : • After breakfast proceed to Jibhi (A beautiful place in Banjar Valley). Visit to Jibhi sightseeing like water Fall, Bahu Special, Balo Temple and Shesh Nag Temple etc.On the way cross Jalori Pass. Evening walk around the village. A comfertable overnight stay at hotel in Jibhi.
Day 0 6 :Jibhi to Manali and in evening Manali Local Sight Seeing • In evening you may take a local tour of Manali, visiting the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving. You also visit the Tibetan Monastery and the handicraft center and the nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot water Sulphur springs. Day 07 : • Manali Rohtangpass tour After brekfast, excursion to Rohatang Pass. Situated at an altitude of 13,979 Ft. above sea level and 52 kms outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass – the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. At the top of the pass the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herring boned ridges into the Lahaul valley. You can option for adventure sports like Paragliding, Zorbing, and Skiing on direct payment basis. After an exciting day of sight-seeing and adventure sports in Solang Valley and return to Manali. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
Day 08 : Manali to Chandigarh ( 240kms/Approx 6.5hrs) : • After breakfast and a memorable experience, back to Chandigarh for onward journey.
