Properties – Optional Advanced • Allow Hints? • E-mail notification (instructor) • Disable Options • Right-Click • Pager
Properties – Messages (Optional) • Describe the Quiz • Instructions for the Quiz • Page Header/Footer Options (Optional)
Restrictions – Availability • Status • Dates • Start • End • Display in Schedule (Students)
Restrictions – Other • Release Conditions • See Discussions • IP Restrictions • Proctored Exams in Lab • Timing • Advanced Availability • Special Access
Attempts • Number Allowed • Grade Calculation

Adding Questions – Considerations • Do you want to reuse questions? • Do you want to section your quiz? • Do you want to create question pools? • If “True” • Create questions in the Question Pool • Else • Can create questions in the Quiz
Creating Questions • Click on “Question Library” • Or “Add/Edit Questions” • In the Drop-down, select Question Type • Click Go • Options from here vary based on type of Question
Question Pools / Random Section • In the Quiz, select “Layout/Questions” • Click “Add/Edit Questions” • Select “Random Section” from the drop-down • Click “Go” • Name it • Save it • Everything else, Optional
Adding Questions • Click on “Import” • Choose the Source Selection • Typically “Collection Root” • Can Organize Question Library into Sections (Folders) • Click the Checkbox next to the desired questions • Click “Save”
