Simulations and Modeling • Provide Distributed Simulation Support Capability to all NS(S) endeavors involving Simulations (MIDEX, C-45, KLT, ACSTP?) • Exercise scenario development • Simulation database management • Exercise prep support • Controller support during exercises • Train the trainer simulation education • Simulation laboratory to develop and beta test new scenarios • Increasing Role in PfP SimNet

  9. Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) • Support to Existing and Future Courses • Support to Exercises • Provide SME advice and guidance to faculty • Assists in development of content • Build content into most appropriate formats for ADL delivery • Manage ADL delivery processes

  11. CRONOS • Provide special CRONOS access for faculty research purposes • Ability to download all unclassified NATO Documents for inclusion on NS(S) Intranet e-library • Manage SACLANT based NS(S) classified webpage • Post Classified ADL Content?

  12. WebServices • Support departments in ADL through the development of constituent .html products for ADL courseware • On-line publication of a periodic publication • Manage academic web-pages in conjunction with departments • Collaborate with PAO on internet site content

NS(S) Quarterly Publication • Support the school's academic vision through publishing a Quarterly Professional Military Journal • Focused on Combined-Joint Operational Issues • Sets publishing deadlines and sets thematic direction of each issue • Edits and prepares content • Direct link to WebServices for on-line publishing • Collaborates with PAO for hard publishing
