  7. Expenditures for Electronic Resources 110 ARL Libraries have reported total 2001-02 e-resource expenditures of $170,887,737, or an average of $1,553,525. Those libraries reported $910,930,850 in total library materials on the 2001-02 ARL Statistics, or an average of $8,281,190. Thus, In 2001-02, ARL institutions spent an average of 19.54% of their library materials budgets on electronic resources.
