  7. Mac Initiative • Families formed round technology • General wait for family to deliver • Was there a 100% solution?

  9. After effects of MAC? • has the market for specialist HE systems been depressed by MAC? • Disillusionment on the part of the ‘customers’? • The major players re-enter the market • their specialist systems are immature
