  4. God Tests, But Does Not TemptJames 1:13 • Temptation – soliciting to sin • Testing – proving to be genuine • We can see both in Job’s trials • Satan is tempting • God is testing • Why is God the one who always get the blame?

  5. If Tempted, Its Because of Our Own Sinful Desires (James 1:14-15) • “carried away” and “enticed” • Satan’s way of fishing for men • Satan’s lure will only attract our fleshly hungers (1 John 2:16) • Lust of the flesh • Lust of the eyes • Boastful pride of life • “by his own lust”
