  3. 1. Apollo Tyres Apollo Tyres Ltd. was included on 28 September 1972 as a Public Limited Company and obtained a certificate of Commencement of Business on 24 October 1972. Apollo Tyres Ltd is the world’s seventh-largest Tyre manufacturer, with annual consolidated revenues of 172.76 billion in March 2018. Its first plant was commissioned in Thrissur, Kerala, Perambra and the company now has four manufacturing units in India.

  4. 2. CEAT Tyres The company was founded in 1924 as Cavi Elettrici e Affini Torino by Virginio Bruni Tedeschi, in Italy. The company was incorporated as CEAT Tyres of India, in Mumbai on 10 March 1958. Initially, the CEAT Tyre company collaborated with the Tata Group.

  5. 3. BKT Tyres Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT) is a Tyre manufacturing company based in Mumbai, India and founded in 1987. Balkrishna Industries manufactures off-highway Tyres used in specialist segments like earthmoving, mining, gardening, agriculture in five factories located in Dombivali, Aurangabad, Bhiwadi, Bhuj, and Chopanki.
