  3. From Guy to the Vis UI Group During summer, I have put my young collegue (Laurent Garnier) on trying to have some Qt with G4. The main idea was to simply "clone" what is done today with Xt/Motif and WIN32 in the interfaces and visualization categories. After three / four weeks of work he arrived with something now. Then he has now some : G4Qt : for the global steering (init Qt, main loop) G4UIQt : a similar simple GUI like the G4UIXm. G4OpenGLQt : similar to the OpenGLXm driver. modifs in the config system to attach Qt. All these follows what had been done with the Xt/Motif and WIN32 drivers. (Things had been done for Qt4) Nothing commit yet. Since the G4 workshop is approaching, I would like that you discuss the point to know if you want that this work be in the repository and then, at least for sources, this work comes with G4 releases. The manpower attached to that code would be Laurent at partial time. (Laurent is now a full time engineer at IN2P3 (not a "passing" person)) Garnier and Barrand Geant4 Qt Interface
