PURPOSE • TO ALLEVAITE POTENTIAL DOUBTS AS TO WHAT VALUES TO ENTER IN THE SETUP PROCESS • TO INSURE THAT REQUIRED INFORMATION IS CORRECTLY ENTERED IN ORDER THAT WEB EDI BECOMES EASY TO USE AND ERROR FREE • TO INDICATE MANDATORY INFORMATION FOR MAGNA POWERTRAIN ITALIA WHICH MAY NOT BE INDICATED IN THE GENERAL TRAINING DOCUMENT

MPT WEB EDI • WEB EDI is easy to use if: • Take 30 minutes to prepare to properly setup your access • Obtain a Copy of 0.0 SupplyWEB 10 - Supplier Training - Registration and Admin (update xx) Available for downlaod on WEB EDI Log In Page: http://supplyweb.magna.com/supplyWeb/account/login Under “Links” click on “SupplyWeb Documentation”

  4. DATA COLLECTION • Prior to entering for the first time, gather the following information • 1. Registration ID (Provided in Activation Communication. Needed only for first time Log On/Registration) • 2. Registration Key (Provided in Activation Communication. Needed only for first time Log On/Registration) • 3. Your Dunns Number (Mandatory, you will not be able to finish the registration process without it

  5. DATA COLLECTION • Prior to entering for the first time, gather the following information • 4. Contact Person Name, E-Mail, Phone N° • 5. Company address • 6. Ship From address if different than in N° 5 • 7. List of Magna Part Numbers supplied with your (supplier) corresponding part number and part description • 8. Weight of each part supplied

  6. DATA COLLECTION • Prior to entering for the first time, gather the following information • 9. Breakdown of packaging for each part supplied. • Example (1) • Part N° One Way Pallet Cardboard Box/Pallet Pieces/Box Pieces/Pallet • 12345 1 30 15 450 • Example (2) • Returnable Returnable Ret.Plastic • Part N° Pallet Plastic Enclosure Dividers Pcs/Divider Pcs/Pallet • 98765 1 1 15 15 225 • 10. Obtain from MPT Italia WEB EDI codes to use for 2 way packaging material (Provide description, weight, demensions) • 11. Weight of each Packaging Material Used

  7. REGISTRATION • Follow SupplyWEB 9.5 – User Training • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 1. Step 3 of 9: In the block “User Information”; Choose “Contact and user” as “Type”

  8. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 2. Step 4 of 9: “Ship From ID” enter default value “100”. 100

  9. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 3. Step 5 of 9: “Next Shipper Number” – Insert “1” as default. You will be entering your Delivery Note Number when creating an ASN/Shipper. • 4. Step 5 of 9: “Next Label Serial Number” – Insert “1” as default. • 5. Step 5 of 9: “Reconcile” – Select “No”

  10. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 6. Step 6 of 9 (EDIFACT/X12): SKIP, Irrelevant for MPT Italia • 7. Step 7 of 9: Mandatory. You will not be able to create an ASN if not completed. • For Two Way Packaging, Contact MPT Italia for Container Codes • For One Way Packaging, Use the following default Container Codes: • Pallet (Euro 120x80cm): 0009Pal • Pallet (mini Euro 60x80cm): 0010mPal • One Way Container (ie Cardboard Box): 0001cbBox • One Way Dividers or other Material: 0001cbDiv

  11. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 7. Step 7 of 9: “Tara Weight” and “Tara Weight Units of Measure” are required fields (Item).

  12. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 8. Step 8 of 9: “SetUp Parts”. This step is mandatory in order to generate an ASN • 9. Step 8 of 9: “Parts SetUp”. If no schedule has been up-loaded, you will need to complete this step later. In this case you can contact MPT Italia . (Enter WEB EDI select from the menu “SetUp” and then select “Parts” or “Return to Registration Wizzard” to complete the registration process)

  13. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 10. Step 8 of 9: “SetUp Parts”. Supplier Part Information is mandatory. Information will not be saved if no completed. (Supplier Part Number, Part Weight, Weight Unit of Measure)

  14. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 11. Step 8 of 9: “SetUp Parts”. “Packaging Information” is mandatory. This must be completed for each part shipped. An ASN will not be generated if not completed. (push Add)

Step 8 of 9: “SetUp Parts”. “Packaging Information”. • If shipping loose single containers (Example: single cardboard boxes without pallets) DO NOT “DEFINE MASTER CONTAINER”. Leave as “None” • “Template Code”, “Description”, “Facility”, and “Ship To” remain mandatory fields. (See Point 13) None

  16. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 13. Step 8 of 9: “SetUp Parts”. “Packaging Information”. • The following fields are mandatory • Template Code: Free Text Entry (Name for the packaging – by supplier) • Description: Free Text Entry (Give a brief desciption to the packaging) • Facility: Leave default value “All” unless the same part is shipped from more than one facility with different packaging. • Ship To: Leave default value “All” unless you ship the same material in different packaging to different Magna Facilities. • Master Container. (See General Examples in Point 14 and Container list in Point 7) • Check Mark each box for “Include on ASN”, “Include on Label”, and “Print on Shipping Documents”

Qty.: 240 (240 pieces per Plastic Enclosure) • Check Mark each box for “Include on ASN”, “Include on Label”, and “Print on Shipping Documents”

After completeing the registration process – At a minimum a default setting must be imposted for “Bar Code Label Layouts” and “Label Templates”. Even if not used (ie.: your system correctly generates the Magna required shipping labels), the WEB EDI must create internally shipping labels prior to generating an ASN. The lables are created in PDF format. • 16. Go to the side menu, select “Setup”. Choose “Bar Code Label Layouts” – Enter your values. Choose “Label Templates” – Enter your values.

  25. REGISTRATION • PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING POINTS • 17. All steps performed in the Registration process can be modified selecting the appropriate voice from the side menue “Setup” • 18. You can repeat the registration process (Step 4 of 9 onwards) choosing “Return to Registration Wizard”
