  1. March 2010 newsletter For the first time since we have been in Arkansas the unthinkable has happened. The month of February went by without being able to get a support letter out. This only speaks to the amount of stress that we are all under. As I had stated in the past, this semester promised to be the hardest of all. There are some weeks when I really don’t know what day it is. Greek is taking 3 hours a night for homework and with 19 credit hours it has become a decision of what can wait and what has to be done at any certain moment. Before we get to the end of my schooling I wanted to introduce you to the guys. Most of these men have been with me all the way through this program. These men have been friends, study partners and most importantly, men who want to serve God. Some of these men will be graduating with me in July, others will be waiting until the fall of 2010 to start their work. Others will be going on to Graduate school. Each man is following Gods call and following His lead. No matter where they go, I will always call them my friends and I look forward to watching these men grow and become awesome servants for God. One man that I have been spending a large amount of time with is Jim Winner ( he is in the tan sport coat), he has been my Greek study partner and I am grateful for all of his help and support. Without him, Greek would be much harder. On a personal note, The whole family has had some kind of sickness in one form or another. I believe it was our spring colds and hopefully we are done with this. Everyone is doing well, the kids are still doing well in school and looking forward to their up and coming spring break. Mary is looking for a job for the next few months although we don’t know who would hire her for such a short amount of time. We are still looking for a church to work with and would ask you to keep us in your prayers as we start to interview at different congregations. We are leaving it in the Lords hands and waiting on Him to show us His decision. I want to say a special thank you to the folks that helped replace my laptop. When the blue screen of death happened, I did not know what I was going to do. Thank you again. The Chaffin Family
