  1. How you will explore the Great Wall in its different colors? Great Wall of China is one of the signature tourist spots and matters a lot for China tourism. Most of the Great Wall tours are conducted from Beijing because major portion of Great Wall is easily accessible from here. There are total 8 bits of Great Wall of China near by to Beijing and typically all these 8 bits offer different flavors of this gigantic manmade wonder.   2. Hiking at Badaling This is perhaps the most easy & accessib part of the Great Wall. The entire area is gorgeously maintained and the ambiance is tourist friendly too. However the place remains crowded almost every day, getting a lonely view of the wall from this point is merely impossible. Cable car facility is available here for climbing the wall; tourists having mobility issue can avail the car advantage to enjoy the thrill of hiking here. www.trekclub.org

  3. Hiking at Mutianyu Mutianyu bit of Great Wall presents more closeness to nature and the entire bit is well preserved. Tourists looking for lesser crowd around will feel happy by visiting this place. Hiking to this place offer low level difficulty therefore it is manageable for both young and seniors. The area is located amidst lush green landscape and offers excellent natural view regardless the season.

  4. Hiking at Jinshanling section to Simatai Hiking at this route has its own passion and ecstasy packed for the hikers. This portion of the wall is not restored and is kept in its old original form and features. Multiple watch towers are seen here and the trail is on the hilly terrain so offers frequent ups and downs. This hiking route is ideal for hikers who have started hiking recently.

  5. Hiking at Gubeikou & Jiankou section Gubeikou was an important place in Beijing defense plan and in ancient age lot of focus was placed on it. Till date this area of Wall displays the precision and care once bestowed on building this portion, which besides safety feature has an excellent architectural value. Officially Jiankou section is not open for hikers because this Wall section is quite dangerous and was never restored.
