  2. Mutianyu www.trekclub.org Mutianyu is a section of the Great Wall of China located in Huairou County 70 km northeast of central Beijing. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is connected with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi in the east.

  3. Jinshanling www.trekclub.org Jinshanling, is a section of the Great Wall of China located in the mountainous area in Luanping County, Hebei Province, 125 km northeast of Beijing. This section of the wall is connected with the Simatai section to the east.

  4. Jiankou www.trekclub.org Jiankou is a section of the Great Wall of China. This section is a photographic hotspot due to its unique style, steep mountains and beautiful scenery. Jiankou Great Wall is one of the most dangerous and wild Great Wall sections.

  5. Simatai www.trekclub.org Simatai, a section of the Great Wall of China located in the north of Miyun County, 120 km northeast of Beijing, holds the access to Gubeikou, a strategic pass in the eastern part of the Great Wall.

  6. Huanghuacheng www.trekclub.org Huangyaguan or Huangya Pass is a small section of the Great Wall of China located in the north of Ji County, Tianjin municipality, approximately 78 miles north of urban Tianjin city. The site lies on a steep and abrupt mountain ridge.

  7. Juyongguan Juyong Pass is a mountain pass located in the Changping District of Beijing Municipality, over 50 kilometers from central Beijing. The Great Wall of China passes through, and the Cloud Platform was built here in the year 1342.

  9. Shanhai Pass www.trekclub.org Shanhai Pass, known in Chinese as Shanhaiguan, also called Yu Pass, is one of the major passes in the Great Wall of China. The words "First Pass Under Heaven" are engraved above one of the gates, and so the site is also known by that name.
