  2. In 2010, Anoka County suffered a rash of GLBT suicides, usually tied to bullying behavior targeting their sexuality.

  3. In 2011, GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) surveyed some 8,584 GLBT youth, studying their experiences in school. They have been doing this survey on a biennial basis since 1999.

  4. The GLSEN National School Climate Survey, however, is not intended for use profiling communities in order to predictthings like the Anoka County suicides.

  5. The Profiling for Good project aims to change that.
