  3. Hammerhead Shark On some occasions the Hammerhead shark will attack humans, but only if it feels threatened and in danger.

  4. Great White Shark This shark is known for attacking humans. It is believed that these sharks mistake humans for sea lions and seals.

  5. Tiger Shark This shark is known for its attacks on swimmers. They are mostly found in Hawaii. The Tiger shark is almost as dangerous as the Great White shark when it comes to human attacks.

  6. Whale Sharks Whale sharks are not aggressive toward humans. They eat plankton. Divers are able to swim with these sharks and not be attacked!

  7. Basking Shark These sharks are generally not harmful to people and are not aggressive towards humans. They are the second largest sharks.
