  1. India Gate India Gate is the beautiful structure in India which is the symbol of power, sacrifice, Determination, and solidarity. This structure is also called the All India War Memorial. This war memorial is located at the front end of Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi. This beautiful structure is the memorial of 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the first world war between 1914–1921. On India Gate, almost 13,300 names of service man’s including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom are carved to give them tribute.

  2. Some Information for visitors: Visiting hours :- It is open on all days 24 hours and anybody can visit this site. Entry fee:- There is no charge to visit this site. Tips:- ● It is good if you bring homemade food because there are several gardens where you can have a picnic with your family. ● If you are at India Gate in January so you can attend the Republic day on 26 January. ● The nearest metro to reach India Gate is Central Secretariat.
