  3. Step 1 • Cut the string that connect with the board. • So that the board will form a slope and the ball on the board will hit the bottle underneath.

  4. Step 2 • The balls dropped hit the bottle. • The bottle which is placed on the point of transition, will slide down and pull the string that tie up on it.

  5. Step 3 • The bottle is at one side of a lever, the slide of it will pull up another side of the lever, which is a cardboard, that fixes in the potato chip bottle to stop the inside from sliding. Rube Goldberg machine

  6. Step 4 • The cardboard is pulled away and then the ball will slide through the track and hit the switch which is at point of transition, too.

  7. Step 5 • The switch is hit and it is switched on (the part is most difficult one since the ball cannot hit accurately at the switch, it may slide away)

  8. Step 6 • The switch is on so that the fan is turned on.

  9. Step 7 • The fan is turned on so that it will blow the can slide down the slope.

  10. Step 8 • Finally, the slided can will roll past the toothpaste and it is successfully squeezed. Rube Goldberg machine

  11. The end • The video is too big that cannot be uploaded to the wikispace and we have 4 videos. 3 are the script of the device, 1 is the procedure. We will hand in the video by Wednesday.
